Talk To Us With TweetBoard – “The way we communicate with others and with ourselves ultimately determines the quality of our lives”. Anthony Robbins was more than right when he said this and if you really want to be successful in business, online or offline, this is one thing you must take to heart. Communication is pretty much at the core of everything you do to be successful.
From the way you communicate with your potential clients to the way you communicate with your staff, your readers, your viewers, your voters or your loved ones, the WAY you do it is affecting your life even if your don’t know it.
I talked in my last post about Visual, Audio and Tactile ways of communicating and how this could affect your sales letter, sales pitch and even your love life! I hope you took this on board and tried to figure out which one you are and how you can adjust your communication and better relate to other people in business and in your personal life.
The point of this blog is, essentially, to educate those who are wanting to become entrepreneurs and to give those who already are some more ideas. This particular tip is for both.
I assume you are using Twitter. If you are an offline entrepreneur you should be using Twitter, if you are an online entrepreneur and you are not using Twitter, then your may need to rethink your profession!
I have described Twitter as a ‘global online instant messenger’ and that is pretty much what it is. The only problem with using Twitter as a ‘messenger-type’ service is that if you want to have conversations with your followers it can be a pretty disjointed affair. The direct message section is not particularly useful because if you auto follow (like I do) then this will be full of messages thanking you for your follow. The @TheMarketMaker search facility is what I have used previously but again, it is not very contextual.
Tweetboard, therefore is a cracking idea. On the left hand side of this page you will see a tab which will be either green or red. Clicking on this tab will open a history of tweets but any conversations between myself an followers will be grouped under ‘replies’. There is also a ‘reply’ button so people can join in the conversation. There is also a ‘permalink’ button which gives the url of the conversation. This is a very cool app that allows blogs to become even more interactive than they were previously.
If you have a presence online then I would suggest that the Tweetboard facility is a must. I guess at some stage this service will be monetized and you may have to put up with ads in the bottom of the Tweetboard interface, but as a toll to connect with your readers it is absolutely fantastic.
If you would like to ask questions of us or just have a chat, you know how to do it! Look forward to tweeting with you!

How cool are you guys!
Last time I checked your blog, I learned about banner management plugins and this time I learn about Tweetboard. I don’t know if I will use Tweetboard or not. I may try it out and see what happens, if I like it or not.
Thanks for the killer blog tools.
