Motorsport Sponsorship For Your Business?

Posted by onelife On August - 19 - 2009
I am huge motorsport fan and as such have looked at how to get involved with motorsport at every level of business I have been involved with. It wasn’t until recently that I started looking at sponsorship seriously, because I had always thought it would be too expensive.

This all changed when I met Trevor Steggles of Trevor Steggles Marketing. He runs a very professional company that specialises in Motorsport sponsorship packages and on circuit and off circuit activation of major corporate sponsorship programs. Each project is individually tailored to meet clients’ needs and aims. A typical sponsorship led marketing promotion includes ‘on car’ graphics, team branding, corporate hospitality, on track advertising, PR campaigns, employee motivation schemes and customer competitions.

We wrote an article recently about not forgetting offline marketing and this kind of thing comes into that realm. Take a listen to the podcast and let Trevor explain to you how Motorsport sponsorship could be useful to your business and perhaps how you could get involved with the first really ‘green’ racing team.

  1. I suppose the same ideas could be applied to someone that offers no products but only advertising space on their blog. I guess that could be considered as a product

About Me

My name is David, I am very happily married and have one step son. We moved to Switzerland 4 years ago as we love the country, it is a hub of entrepreneurship, the people are fabulous and the skiing is not bad either!

This blog is about passing on some of the strategies I have learned in 20 years as an entrepreneur, from running a commodities operation producing $300mn per year of business to the challenges of owning a small hotel on a tiny Caribbean island and many businesses inbetween.

Others coaches are excellent at reading books and distilling the content for you, that is great if that is what you are looking for. I give you practical advice through my own successes and mistakes. I hope you find the blog useful.
