Building a hotel in the Caribbean was fraught with danger. Each day at least one worker would threaten to ‘mash’ me up while waving a machete in my general direction. A local crime figure turned up at our half built hotel at 3am in the morning, drunk with five or six equally drunk and high hangers on demanding money and one of our English staff had a rock thrown at his head outside a nightclub. Entrepreneur Success Stories – We Love ‘em…

Entrepreneur success stories are great fodder for motivation, ideas and strategies for those new to business or even old hands. I have read a multitude of biographies from Richard Branson, Sir James Goldsmith to Sheikh Yamani. Every book I read always give me some new insight, which is why I don’t stick to a particular type of business or industry.
